What are Franka Pizzeria’s hours?
Monday–Thursday 10am–9pm, Friday–Saturday 8am–9pm, and Sunday 8am–7pm.
When is happy hour?
Happy hour is Monday–Friday from 3pm to 6pm, dine-in only: buy-one-get-one-free beers and cocktails plus $7 appetizers (calamari, mozzarella sticks, wings, Brussels sprouts, bruschetta and onion rings). Fries and garlic bread stay at regular price.

Can I order online for pickup or delivery?
Yes. Order directly from Franka through our Toast online ordering for pickup or delivery, and earn rewards: 1 point for every $1 spent, plus $7 off a first order of $35 or more for first-time guests.

When is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served Friday–Sunday 8am–11am and Monday–Thursday 10am–11am. Our morning menu includes wood-fired breakfast pizzas, omelets, ricotta pancakes, waffles, breakfast bowls and mimosas. Weekend brunch is served Saturday and Sunday 8am–4pm. Lunch runs 11am–4pm every day, and dinner is Monday–Saturday 4pm–9pm and Sunday 4pm–7pm.
What sizes are your pizzas?
Our pizzas come in two sizes: 10" and 14".
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes. Gluten-free crust is available for any pizza (+$2; +$3 on breakfast pizzas). Although we offer gluten-free menu options, we are not a gluten-free kitchen, so please speak with your server about any dietary restrictions or allergies.
Is there a fee for paying by card?
Yes. A 4% fee is added to all credit card transactions.
Do you offer catering?
Yes. Pizza packages serve 5, 10 or 20, with add-on appetizers, salads, a sandwich & salad combo ($17 per person, minimum 5) and beverages. Final counts for events over 25 people are requested 7 days ahead.
Do you have a kids menu?
Yes. Kids can choose a half cheese pizza, or a grilled cheese, chicken fingers or cheeseburger with french fries. In the morning, Little Franka (12 and under) adds a pancake or waffle breakfast.

Is there parking?
Yes. There is ample parking right in front of the restaurant and along the side by the patio.
Do you serve Waukee, West Des Moines, Urbandale and nearby areas?
Yes. Franka is at 12695 University Ave Suite 100 in Clive, Iowa, a short drive from nearby cities: West Des Moines (about 8 minutes from Jordan Creek Town Center), Waukee (about 11 minutes from Waukee City Hall), Urbandale (about 10 minutes from Urbandale City Hall), Grimes (about 13 minutes from Grimes City Hall), Windsor Heights (about 11 minutes from Windsor Heights City Hall) and Johnston (about 16 minutes from Johnston City Hall), without traffic. Guests can dine in, order online through Toast for pickup or delivery, or book catering for an event.
When is weekend brunch?
Weekend brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 4pm, with no wait.
Is the dough made in-house?
Yes. Our dough is handcrafted and hand-stretched right in front of you, then cooked over an open wood fire.
Do you have a rewards program?
Yes. Join Franka rewards through Toast to earn 1 point for every $1 spent, and registered members get $10 off on their birthday.
Is there usually a wait?
Usually not. We have plenty of seating, so most guests are seated right away, including at breakfast and brunch. The only time you may wait is dinner on a busy Saturday night, so we recommend reserving on Toast for Saturday evenings.
How long does a pizza take?
Once ordered, our wood-fired pizzas take about 5 to 10 minutes.
Can I customize my pizza?
Yes. When dining in, you can change or add toppings on any pizza, or build your own from $18 (10") / $24 (14").
Can the kitchen go lighter on salt?
Yes. Just ask your server and we are happy to go lighter on salt.
Is Franka good for kids and families?
Yes. The 10" pizza suits smaller appetites, and the kids menu has a half cheese pizza, grilled cheese, chicken fingers or a cheeseburger with fries. Little Franka Breakfast is for kids 12 and under.
Is Franka a good date-night spot?
Yes. Sit near the open wood-fired oven, order from the full bar and finish with Classic Tiramisu or Flourless Chocolate Torte. Reserve a table on Toast.
